Andi finished the Strawberry Fields Olympic Triathlon yesterday in 3:06:23. She finished well after a tough ocean swim that left her "completely exhausted." Her splits were 49:36 (1500m ocean swim), 3:38 (T1), 1:19:51 (40k bike), 2:16 (T2), 51:00 (10k run). The "T" is a transition time between events. She was 311th out of 372, and 19th out of 27 for females 30-34.
Here's a video from Coach Jay Johnson on circuit training for runners. Good stuff!

Andi, YOU NEED A FLAT SWIM! Those ocean swims are not flat.
Good job glad you are alive!

My placing and times may not look impressive...but after completing that ocean swim I feel like a rock star!! Way to go Ron and Julie, you two did amazing!! Let's pick a lake swim next time:)!!
Congratulations Andi.....you are awesome! Even after being "completely exhausted" from the 1500m ocean swim, I counted only 177 competitors with faster 10K times then yours. Way to hang tough. I am proud of you!
P.S. I would have had to walk the last 1000m of the swim.
Great blog! Found it researching cruise intervals
