I have been upgraded to a hurricane! Look out! Today I read, “Karl is expected to strengthen steadily and possibly rapidly.” I hope that is true. For me, not for Mexico.
Hurricane Karl forms in the Gulf of Mexico.
I missed a beautiful morning today. Staying up too late. I may go tonight or tomorrow morning.
Check out this new article fro the UVA Center for Endurance Sport blog on foot and ankle biomechanics. It is a very good read.
The Rock n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon is loaded with the best in the work for men and women this weekend. It will be worth checking out. Ryan Hall and Shalane Flanagan are running for the U.S.

Are Andi and the boys now calling you Hurricane Karl?
The Rock n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon should be a great race. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of condition both Ryan and Shalane are in. When Deena ran her sub-2:20 at the 2006 London Marathon she had run a sub-1:08 in the 2005 Philadelphia Half. Do you know if there is anyway to watch the race?
Chuck,
competitor.com will have live coverage of the race starting at 7:55 EST. That means 5 am PST. It looks like it might be free too! Here is the web site

Alistair Cragg (winner of the Santa Monica 5k)of Ireland is also running. Looks like he is in good shape too!
